Art for Eyes Inc. was established in 2007 in Green Cove Springs on US 17. After 7 years we moved to our Fleming Island location. Recently we moved to Middleburg (only minutes away from our previous location) because our building was sold.

Dr. Sheila Merritt
Optometrist
Dr. Sheila Merritt is a Jacksonville native. For over 30 years she is a board-certified Optometrist in the Jacksonville area and provides quality family eye care at an affordable price, right here at Art for Eyes Optical in Fleming Island.
Dr. Merritt has two children and a "daughter in love". She is happily married for 30 years and she also is a great Christian.
Dr. Merritt's work method is pretty unique as there is no technician involved, which means she will take care of you from beginning to end of your eye exam. She will take time with you and listen to your questions and concerns you might have regarding your eye health.

- Married to her husband of 37 years. They have a son, a wonderful daughter-in-law and two amazing grandchildren.
- She is active in her local church, where her husband is the pastor, and has a passion for working with the children ministries and helping others.
- In her free time, Wendy likes to spend time with her family & friends, cheers for the Florida Gators and enjoys a good Hallmark movie
